The Fly-in Librarian

Welcome! I started this blog as an opportunity to share ideas, and to act as a digital portfolio for the coursework that I am doing as part of the Library and Information Science Master’s Degree (MLIS) program with Syracuse University’s iSchool.

I have been flying since 2003, finished my B.A. in French in 2006, B.Ed. in 2008, and after teaching kindergarten through business college I moved into the public library in 2019 to continue pursuing my passion for working with people. 2021 brought about an opportunity to transition my learning path from a library technician diploma to the MLIS program.
